Our trip to Marseille was wonderful. Our private tour guide, Justine Coste, was amazing. She was very informative and made our experience one we will always remember. We have 2 kids in motorized wheelchairs & the whole city was accessible. I would highly recommend Justine if you ever visit Marseille, France!
Justine Coste greeted us down in the harbor and with good english she began to present her view on the city of Marseille, her own hometown. Justine the took us ona stroll through the old town and to some of the more prominent buildings whilst always spekaing about Marseille, the people of Marseille and how the town has come to be what it is today. She always tried to answer our questions and it was more of a dialogue than one of them old boring sightseeing tours. After a three hour tour she added the bonus feature of booking us at a pizzeria, now one could question the uniqueness of a pizzeria, but the location of it and the food served was great and something you wouldn't have found if you has strolled down the regular touristic parts of the town.
I have recently helped some clients from Louisiana, USA, planning an extension of their trip in Provence and Cote d'Azur. I have contacted Justine Coste to give them a guided tour of Marseille and Aix de Provence. They were absolutely blown away by Justine's personality and knowledge. She is wonderful and very passionate and she really enhanced their experience there. I will definitely contact her again for my future tours in France!
From the first email to our actual day with Justine, we were pleased with her service. Justine met us at our hotel and helped us to buy our tickets for the following day to Geneva. Then we began a tour that truly highlighted Marseille. Both my husband and I have some mobility issues and Justine was aware of the need to go at our pace. Our day included a great deal of walking but we were never pushed to do more than we were able. Justine is proud of her city and honest in her comments about the good and the bad. We learned a great deal about the history and politics of Marseille. All the sites we visited we exactly what we wanted. We ate lunch at a wonderful small family owned restaurant that we would have never chosen on our own. A great day. A great experience. Highly recommend you contact Justine for a personal tour while in Marseille.
